Frequently asked questions
Are my notifications sent anywhere?+
No. Notification history is processed and stored locally. The app architecture does not include the INTERNET permission.
Do I need an account?+
No. Sizial Notify works without registration or a Sizial ID.
Can I exclude banking notifications?+
Yes. Every app can be set to PRIVATE or IGNORE. IGNORE is recommended for authenticators and password managers.
What happens if I uninstall the app?+
Android removes Sizial Notify local app data. There is no server copy to restore from.
Why can’t I see notifications from before installation?+
Notify receives events after Notification Access is granted. It cannot recover notifications Android never provided to it.
Does it work without Wi-Fi or SIM?+
Yes. History, search, rules and settings are designed for fully offline operation.
PRIVACY
Sizial Notify Privacy Policy
Sizial Notify is designed as a fully local application. This policy explains what data the app may process, why it is needed, and how you control it.
The app does not access the Internet
Sizial Notify does not request the Android INTERNET permission and does not transmit data to any server. The app has no accounts, cloud sync, advertising, analytics, or third-party trackers. If you open a website link, it is handed to the browser you choose, which operates under its own privacy policy.
Data processed by the app
After you explicitly grant Notification Access, Android may provide the source app name and identifier, notification title, text, category, and time. This data is used only for local history, search, categories, FULL / PRIVATE / IGNORE rules, retention, and local reminders.
Storage and protection
Notification history is stored only on your device in an encrypted database. Its key is protected by Android Keystore. The database and key material are excluded from Android cloud backup. Access to sensitive data can also be protected with biometrics, your device credential, or a local PIN.
Your controls and deletion
You can select FULL, PRIVATE, or IGNORE for each app and configure retention. You may revoke Notification Access in Android settings at any time; capture of new notifications will then stop. Existing records can be deleted individually, by source app, or all at once. Uninstalling Sizial Notify also removes its local app data.
Export and backups
CSV/JSON exports and encrypted .snbak backups are created only when you explicitly request them through Android’s system file picker. A plaintext export leaves the app’s protected vault and may be saved to a third-party or cloud location you select; the chosen storage provider’s practices then apply to that file.
Sharing with third parties
Sizial Notify does not sell, transfer, or disclose your data to third parties. The app collects no remote diagnostics. A diagnostic report that you create manually does not include notification titles, text, or app identifiers.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when app features or legal requirements change. The current version will always be published on this page with its latest revision date.
